One of our leading barrister’s chambers are looking for a part-time Hospitality Assistant/Housekeeper that is caring, enthusiastic and hard-working with a friendly and easy-going personality to join their team - working from 8am - 1pm Monday - Friday, based near Chancery Lane.

ALL travel expenses paid, alongside other benefits including uniform.

Duties will include:

  • Reporting to the Head Receptionist

  • Distributing milk across 7 buildings (quite a few stairs involved, so definitely someone capable physically).

  • Ensure all tea stations are fully stocked in all of the kitchens and on each of the barrister’s floors

  • Preparing refreshments for conferences / meetings

  • Setting up the conference rooms prior to meetings ensuring they are clean and presentable with sufficient stationary

  • Replenishing refreshments and cleanliness of the refreshment area in reception

  • Restocking of the fridges with water and soft drinks

  • General cleanliness of the kitchen areas

  • Defrosting of the fridges and descaling the kettles as and when required

  • Informing the Head Receptionist when the catering stock is low

  • Occasional lunches and items will need to be purchased for the barristers and the conferences

  • Laundry will be required for example tablecloths, tea cloths and towels

  • Various other ad-hoc duties as and when required

Hospitality Assistant

Part-time up to £14k

A well established and dynamic firm of certified accountants based in Swanley, near Dartford, is seeking an enthusiastic experienced Accounts Assistant for a varied, busy permanent role.

**Due to the location, it is essential you can drive to the office and have access to your own car, free parking available**

The hours are 9.00-5.30pm and you will be working in a very friendly environment.

On a daily basis you will be:

  • Dealing with timesheet figures from a spreadsheet

  • Formatting figures

  • Importing into their software ensuring figures are correct

  • Raising invoices and other ad-hoc duties

  • Assisting and supporting staff where necessary

Ideally you will need:

  • Computer literate - including Excel Itermediate to Advanced level is a must

  • IT savvy and experience with using all Microsoft packages ideally Sage and CRM but not essential

  • Experience in a similar role or previous experience in an Accountancy firm

Accounts Assistant

One of the largest independent Private Equity and Real Estate Administrators in the world, is looking for an experienced and creative Marketing Events Executive. With international offices across four continents, you would be based in their London branch, communicating and dealing with the marketing team across different countries.

You will play an important role in supporting to the Head of Marketing & Events, arranging large corporate events to smaller/intermate events from organising the venue right through to the guest list and the smooth running of the event/day and supporting the Groups marketing & events agenda across all areas of the business.

You need to be confident and self-motivated and deadline driven, with experience in copywriting, event management, a fundamental knowledge of the basic principles of marketing communication, social media and strong command of English and excellent proof-reading/editing skills.

This is a permanent position, working from 9-5pm with excellent benefits (inclu. Pension, Medical insurance, Season Ticket Loan, Bonus).

Ideally you must have:

  • Experience in Event Management, Event organising - examples of these would need to be provided

  • A degree in Marketing, PR, Journalism or Project Management or the CIM Professional Marketing diploma

  • Over a year's experience in an in-house marketing team or similar

  • Experience using email marketing platforms

  • Another language would be beneficial but not necessary
